i want to be creative in my garden, i want it to look beautiful but on my hands on creation, can you help me?
talk to someone at your local nusary, most are more than willing to share knowledge. my best tips would be to use the highest quality soil and slow release plant food.
Plant some flowers and maybe have a water-feature.

all depends on the size of your garden, your location, soil type, what you want to use the garden for and of course how much time and money you have. the best tip is pick a theme and stick to it. for the hard scaping part buy the best quality materials you can afford as the cheap stuff can ruin the end effect. try and design it so it fits in with the surrounding landscape. there are thousands of books on design out there, also get ideas from visiting other gardens and parks.
