How to feed a family of 2 with a garden? Tips or links?
admin on March 19th, 2009
I have a pretty big backyard and I am prepared to do the work required for eating primarily from the garden. Do you have any tips or links?
I am already a basic gardener and I have grown things but I'm taking it to the next level this year.
Thanks everyone.
Try square foot gardening. Its not how much you plant but how much it produces per plant.
try vegetablegardeninghelp.com
Good luck
Also try some berry bushes, raspeberries, blueberries
Strawberries also are relatively easy
Don't forget different types of beans, they need to grow up o string or something, there are many different types that are healthy, they grow fast, pick a few whenever you need them and you will get plenty of produce from them

You are going to need ALOT of land
Me and my father completely removed all the grass from our backyard and made our own garden. i say we save close to 700 bucks plus a year.
